Dans un esprit de concertation et de co-construction avec les habitants, la municipalité a développé en 2021 quatre grands axes de démocratie locale et participative : trois commissions consultatives et un budget participatif.
Commission consultative et citoyenne pour le pacte de transition
Véritable outil démocratique, le budget participatif permet aux habitants de plus de 15 ans, aux collectifs citoyens et aux associations de soumettre des projets qui participent à la transformation de la ville, qui peuvent s’inscrire dans un seul quartier, et qui ont pour but d’améliorer le quotidien.
Les projets peuvent concerner les domaines suivants : la culture, le sport, la jeunesse et l’éducation, la solidarité et la santé, le numérique, la prévention et la sécurité, l’économie et l’emploi, le cadre de vie (embellissement, espaces verts) et l’aménagement de l’espace public.
En 2024, les 3 projets retenus lors de la phase d’analyse rentrent dans l’enveloppe budgétaire allouée par la Ville et deviennent donc lauréats. Pas besoin de voter ! Les lauréats :
1. Installation de nouveaux modules de fitness au centre sportif
2. Installation de casiers de mise à disposition de matériel sportif au centre sportif
3. Rénovation de la piste d’athlétisme au centre sportif

Tout citoyen ferneysien intéressé par la thématique d’une commission pouvait candidater jusqu’au 18 février 2021 inclus à la commission de son choix, par voie électronique, par dépôt en mairie ou par voie postale.
