La Ville de Ferney-Voltaire soutient la création artistique et les artistes du territoire. Elle met non seulement à disposition ses équipements communaux, mais offre aussi un accompagnement humain et professionnel nécessaires à tout processus de création. Ces accueils sont également des moments de rencontres privilégiés avec les publics pour découvrir les secrets de fabrication d’un spectacle, via divers ateliers, des bords de scène et des découvertes in situ.
Le programme 2026-2027
La terre, les traces de notre passage comme symbole du lien entre les hommes, mais aussi avec notre environnement… Un terrain qui sera abordé au travers de nombreuses rencontres cette saison 2026-2027 : théâtre, musique, lecture, contes, marionnettes, arts de la rue, danse… Les spectacles et rendez-vous se dérouleront dans plusieurs bâtiments de la ville : les théâtres communaux Le Châtelard, La Comédie de Ferney et Micromégas, le conservatoire, la médiathèque Le Châtelard, le château de Voltaire, le temple, au cinéma...
Une saison culturelle réalisée en collaboration avec la Compagnie Thalie et les Amis de l'orgue du Temple de Ferney-Voltaire.

Créer pour célébrer les 50 ans du conservatoire
À l’occasion de ses 50 ans, le conservatoire à rayonnement communal de musique, danse et d’art dramatique de Ferney-Voltaire place la création au cœur de sa saison. Fil conducteur de cette année anniversaire, Le Cinquième Souffle, œuvre originale de Lionel Rivière sur un livret de Julie Humbert-Hagron, propose un voyage poétique à travers la terre, l’eau, l’air et le feu, jusqu’à la découverte du cinquième élément : l’humanité.
Tout au long de la saison, concerts, master classes, rencontres et projets participatifs rythmeront cette programmation exceptionnelle. À travers ces rendez-vous, le conservatoire invitera chacun à explorer les liens qui nous unissent et à partager l’aventure de la création artistique.

Livres en Lumières
Le festival littéraire de Ferney-Voltaire devient une biennale et s’installe au printemps pour revêtir ses plus beaux habits de Lumières.
Les professeurs-artistes du conservatoire de Ferney-Voltaire mettront en musique le concours de nouvelles à l’orangerie du château de Voltaire. Une lecture théâtrale portée par Voltaire à Ferney sera également présentée.
La médiathèque Le Châtelard accueillera une grande journée festive autour de plusieurs propositions artistiques, parmi lesquelles un entresort "mythologique" intitulé Narcisse et Écho, ainsi que La Petite casserole d’Anatole, magnifique spectacle de marionnettes proposé par la compagnie Marizibill en présence de l’autrice le samedi.
Le public pourra retrouver le samedi Le Bal littéraire de Fabrice Melquiot et de ses meilleurs acolytes, tandis que Le Bizarre, du même auteur, sera joué le dimanche au théâtre de la Comédie de Ferney.

Cornélia, la militante malgré elle
Dans le cadre de la résidence d’écriture qui unit le château de Voltaire, la Chartreuse de Villeneuve lez Avignon, la Villa Gillet et la Ville de Ferney-Voltaire, Sacha Todorov a écrit un texte consacré à la bataille esthétique et écologique menée par une illustratrice scientifique dont la vie a basculé après la catastrophe nucléaire de Tchernobyl.
À travers ce récit, l’auteur retrace un combat écologique mené contre les institutions, digne de l’héritage des Lumières. La compagnie des Planches brûlées proposera une lecture du texte au château de Voltaire à l’issue de la résidence, puis dans le cadre de la Fête du théâtre de Genève à la médiathèque et théâtre Le Châtelard.
En regard, plusieurs oeuvres de Cornelia Hesse Honegger seront exposées à l’orangerie du château de Voltaire, puis à la médiathèque Le Châtelard, du 15 septembre au 15 octobre.
Marine Blaire animera également une conférence consacrée aux enjeux esthétiques et sociétaux de l’art.
