Les objectifs de La Boussole
La Boussole propose une offre variée d’actions accessibles à tous : de nombreuses permanences, animations, ateliers, ou encore sorties culturelles ou éducatives.
L’objectif ? Créer un lieu convivial, de rencontre et de solidarité pour participer ensemble à des activités, mais aussi pour proposer des idées et des projets à construire avec les Ferneysiennes et les Ferneysiens, les associations locales, les institutions… Pour ce faire, La Boussole a obtenu un agrément de la CAF (Caisse d'allocations familiales).
Le projet social de La Boussole pour 2022-2026 se compose de 3 grands axes :- Bien-être et lien social ;
- Vivre sa citoyenneté ;
- Solidarités et transition.
Le premier axe, « bien-être et lien social » met au centre de toute action menée, le lien social. Il s’intéresse aussi particulièrement à la sensibilisation et à la prévention autour de thématiques de santé. Il se traduit par des actions telles que les ateliers famille, les soirées parents-ados, les ateliers équilibre seniors ou encore les actions sport-santé. Le deuxième axe, « vivre sa citoyenneté » tend à favoriser l’accès aux droits, la participation citoyenne et ambitionne une éducation à la laïcité et à la citoyenneté. Cet axe propose notamment les permanences d’un écrivain public, le lien avec les adolescents de l’espace jeunes et le conseil municipal des jeunes. Le troisième axe « solidarités et transition » vise à informer, à sensibiliser et à accompagner les habitants sur les enjeux environnementaux et à organiser des actions solidaires. On y retrouve les activités suivantes : repair café, zone de troc permanente et bazar à surprises par exemple.

La Boussole recherche des bénévoles pour :
- aider ponctuellement à l’organisation d’événements ;
- favoriser le partage d’expériences : vous avez une compétence que vous voulez faire découvrir à d’autres personnes ? Pourquoi ne pas animer un atelier, ponctuel ou régulier ?
- intégrer le comité de suivi : pour faire remonter les besoins de la population et participer à la création d’animations.
