Le complexe sportif évolutif couvert, rebaptisé centre sportif Henriette-d'Angeville par une décision du SIVOM de l'Est gessien, fut bâti en 1974.

Sa gestion est assurée par le Syndicat intercommunal à vocation multiple - SIVOM, (travaux, gardiennage, répartition des horaires d’utilisation aux scolaires et clubs sportifs). Le SIVOM gère aussi l’attribution de subventions et des récompenses annuelles en matière sportive.

Le plus grand mur d'escalade de l'Ain

L’extension du Centre sportif Henriette-d'Angeville répond aux besoins du territoire en structures et équipements sportifs.

L’espace de grimpe à une hauteur variant de 9 à 13 mètres sur une longueur de 36 mètres, avec plus de 3 500 prises.

Les groupes scolaires, clubs et grimpeurs de niveau débutant à expert y ont accès.

D’une dimension de 730 m², elle comporte :

• un mur d’escalade,
• un espace polyvalent pour les activités sportives,
• un espace pour recevoir du public lors des compétitions régionales, interrégionales et même nationales pour les juniors,
• 2 vestiaires.
